Among the 24 rethugs who opposed the budget bill were (D) Bennet of CO, and (I) Sanders of VT.

I haven't read that he has, and so could only speculate that it might have to do with his re-election in CO.

(2,564 posts)4. Our friend, Senator Sanders
Senators overwhelmingly rejected an amendment offered by Sanders that would have slashed the military budget by 10%. Ahead of the vote, Sanders said the U.S. should prioritize spending on healthcare and social programs over a bloated military budget.

(2,564 posts)8. I also agree with Bernie, except I'd like a bigger cut than 10%.
He's not wrong. I'm supposing it was a principled vote as well as a safe vote.

his senate page yet.

...Sen. Michael Bennet, D-Colo., who protested the lack of Ukraine aid, and Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., who sought funding for Palestinian aid....
