Imagine any network hiring Jim Jones, Charles Manson, or countless other historical cult leaders through the past several decades, hell let's toss a few folks like Al Capone, Goddi, El Chapo.

Rona etc al were flying high on meth , cok and whatever the hell else all during the 2020 campaign and their convention was practically an orgy, and media moguls knew it. Presidential Campaigns is all about sex drugs and rock and roll, somehow mixed in with white supremacists evangelism

It's beyond bizarre, it's psychotic.

I clearly agree that hiring Ronna Romney McDaniel was a big mistake by NBC but let's not forget former RNC chair Michael Steele. At least he didn't help try to steal an election.
Nicole Wallace is another matter. She worked for Jeb Bush in 1999 and 2000 when Jeb and Katherine Harris were busy carrying out their illegal felon purge that wrongly removed more than 50,000 legally registered mostly African-American democrats from Florida's voting rolls by wrongly identifying them as felons according to the reporting of Greg Palast who broke the story when he worked for the U.K. Guardian. Then during the 2000 election dispute she transferred to W's communications team to help spread the big lie that all of the Florida votes had been counted and recounted. That wasn't true then and it isn't true now. Several hundred thousand uncounted ballots from Florida's biggest and most heavily democratic voting counties sit uncounted in the Florida archives. It doesn't take a roxket scientist to figure out that these voters didn't vote for W. Let's remember the additional big lie that W claimed he opposed hand counting ballots despite the fact that 10,000 absentee ballots located in the most heavily republican voting counties that the counting machines couldn't read were in fact hand duplicated and counted as Florida law allowed for ballots that the counting machines couldn't read. That law applied to all ballots that the counting machines couldn't read and not just absentee ballots in heavily republican voting counties. These hand counted republican absentee ballots helped W steal the 2000 election because they're in the Jeb Bush/Katherine Harris fraudulent Florida vote total. I don't recall anyone at MSNBC getting bent out of shape when Nicole Wallace was hired despite her dubious election behavior track record.

After all, MSNBC already employs Michael Steele, who held the same job as her at one time. They also employ Jen Psaki, a former press secretary for Joe Biden.

The issue with McDaniel is her role in trying to help Trump overthow the election. I really don't understand why she has not been charged with any crimes.

The both siderism is killing this country.

NPR will have some factual story and present it, then they'll say, "But Trump is saying it's all fake..." As if the two sides are equal. It's the bending over backwards to appear neutral that is destroying our country. You can't report what someone says if it is obviously a lie and not point it out as a lie and be being fair.

However, if I was a shareholder in NBC's parent company (Comcast), I might be a bit concerned.

I have been skeptical of all the newcast people for many years, both local and national. It seems that the only qualifications are your connections and perhaps having a degree in Strategic Lip Gloss.

I'm sorry to disagree with you but our country is in huge trouble. Democracy in America is on the verge of collapse. Trump is using the Bush/Florida 2000 election stealing roadmap and the media is as AWOL as ever in reporting this. The media coverage of campaign 2000 was the worst in my lifetime. Bush told lie after lie and the media let him off the hook at every turn. The media is still trying to curry favor with the fascist GOP instead of exposing them for who they really are.

Some people may have been asleep for the last 20 years, but not me. Yes, I remember all the discussions about "hanging chads" and how the SCOTUS came in and brute-forced an election to the RNC using the will of a few to over-rule the many. BFD. This is now, and for those of us who have been awake and watching this could seem like a horrible time to be alive, but it's not.

Yes, the MSM is still trying to give us false equivalencies between Dark Brandon forgetting to return a few papers, and Mango Mussolini stealing a pallet full of top secret documents and then having his underlings play "hide ze papers" when the feds came looking. Several times. The good thing this time is, there is nothing subtle any more with the what the RNC is doing. They are completely under the control of a wide variety of evil characters: billionaires, Vladimir Putin, the NRA, Sheik Bonesaw, Kim Jung Un, and TSF's own ego. They publicly espouse the platform "Whatever TR**P wants".

The statements this clown makes on a daily basis are so caustic and self-convicting that the press can't ignore it any longer. While some conservative orgs are trying to only say nice things about the RNC's current Election Clown, they are finding it harder to stay that course. Better yet, this crap is so obvious to the lay person, that he or she is now seriously questioning their own choices in the coming election.

So to insure that this doesn't happen again, please stop whining and get out there. You were once active in FL elections, so get back into the fray. But this time focus on GOTV. Register as many people as you can. Everyone has a stake in this. We need to make the election results so obviously in the DNC's favor that SCOTUS wouldn't dare to pull some BS hanky-panky like they did in 2000.

Let's focus on the positives. Joe has given us the best economy in the world. The labor unions are returning to their former strength across the country. Trump's Pandemic is in the rearview mirror. But also remind them that the RNC wants to take away all women's health care options. Including IVF. Bring these words to all those new voters and let's take back our country.

Our country suffers so terribly today exactly because of the fact that Bush/Florida 2000 trampled the will of the voters who did not want Bush. It was all there for the GOP in 2000, controlling women's bodies, making sure people of color were at the back of the bus, keep burning fossil fuel and continue poisoning the planet and the list goes on. Did the media report any of this? Of course not. Bush had the media in his hip pocket throughout the campaign and the election dispute. If the media had done half of the investigation of Bush's many Campaign 2000 lies that they've now done of Trump Bush wouldn't have been able to get close enough in Florida to have his little brother steal the election for him.. Bush and the GOP were well aware of our country's changing demographics on 2000 and they knew they couldn't win if all of the votes were counted. The election stealing roadmap that Trump and the GOP used in 2020 and since is the Bush/Florida 2000 roadmap, complete with the blatant disenfranchisement of and purging from the voting rolls voters of color, refusing to follow Florida election law that required all of the uncounted votes to be counted, the use of violence with the Brooks Brothers riot that attacked Government Center in Miami on 11/22/00 (the Kennedy assassination anniversary) and stopped the legal Presidential vote count for which none of the participating GOP operatives were ever prosecuted for, the GOP controlled Florida legislature threatened to override the will of the people of Florida and send Bush's name for the Electoral College vote count, and the list goes on. The GOP controlled states before 2020 did massive voter purges in battleground states of voters of color in heavily democratic voting counties, Trump tried to have millions of votes cast by voters of color in heavily democratic voting counties in battleground states thrown out. Roger Stone, now one of Trump's henchmen was involved in the Brooks Brothers riot in 2000 and another Trump henchman John Eastman now in trouble for Trump's fake electors scheme was the one who gave the presentation on the radical and anti democracy independent state legislature theory to a joint session of the GOP controlled Florida state legislature. The Trump 1/6/21 attack on the U.S. Capitol stands on the shoulders of the 11/22/00 Brooks Brothers riot attack on Government Center in Miami.
The bottom line is that history teaches us that "those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it". I feel that you're doing a really good job of ignoring history with your downplaying of the gravity of what happened in Florida in 2000. You don't have my years of Florida election campaign experience. The best way I've found to describe Bush/Florida 2000 is it was the attack from within that the founders of our country so feared. It turns out they were right. Trump/GOP 2020 and since stand on the shoulders of Bush/Florida 2000. Had the will of the people prevailed in 2000, there never would've been a 9/11, no 2008 economic meltdown, no stacking of the SCOTUS with radical extremist judges to overturn Roe vs Wade, end affirmative action, prevent the federal government from holding industry accountable for poisoning our planet, no withdrawal from the Paris climate accord and that list goes on as well.
Bush/Florida 2000 taught me that voting isn't enough and that our laws to ensure that all of the votes are counted also don't mean anything either because they don't get enforced when they're violated as was the case in Florida in 2000. No prosecutions for the anti-democracy behavior of Bush and his election stealers in 2000, including the Brooks Brothers rioters emboldened both the GOP and anti democracy bad actors like Trump to try again and that's exactly what they're doing. I'm also now seeing signs of the media beginning to treat Biden in the same bad way they treated Al Gore in 2000. I hope beyond words that the Biden/Harris ticket wins in November but that's very much an open question. Democracy is on the ballot in 2024 because those responsible for the attack on democracy in 2000 were never held accountable.
