Here's an awesome tip for helping children with their reading. Did you know that putting subtitles/captions on kids' shows massively improves their levels of literacy? Here's a little video of me explaining it. Feel free to share with your friends. #turnonthesubtitles

from popular TV shows with subtitles.

Never discount the power of the subtitle.

Even if they're in the same language as the program, people tend to read them to make sure they're right.

but "fire up the DRADIS, Cylons at 3 o'clock" never came in handy enough for me to retain it all these years later.
