Donald Trump on Tuesday made his case to the U.S. Supreme Court that his Jan. 6, 2021, coup attempt was part of his official duties as president and is therefore immune from prosecution.

... an attorney qualified to go in front of the SCOTUS with a garbage argument like that. Most attornies who go in front of the SCOTUS are proud of that right and would never risk their reputation putting up something this stupid.

Watching him sink may be slow a slow process but it is very satisfying.

until he is required to graduate from STFU.

We bitch about Repubs without the balls to even question him, but what are we democrats doing about it, elected officials or not?

DeNiro launched some nuclear words his way, and at the hypnotized R's.

"Shame, shame, shame on those Republicans that don't have the nerve, the balls, to go after him. What do they tell their kids? What do they tell their grandkids?" he said. "He's like an outright fucking criminal."

All of his lawyers are becoming increasingly insane. Good thing they're all getting paid well.

Of course, no other president can do this, just tsf - that is what I expect them to rule. Their christofascist leanings are the only thing they care about and they are determined to disrupt our democracy to install their preferred dictatorship.

Edit - made first line more clear.

Then Biden needs to put on his big boy pants and update SCOTUS to reflect the # of districts in America - which would mean adding 4 new justices and he needs to appoint them immediately. Of course Senate will also have to disallow filibuster, but with Mancin and Sinema gone, if we have the Senate this should be doable. Is this a dream, yes and it's unlikely to happen but it certainly should.
