3. Take TFG at his word and give him a State of the Union level beating. That rapist has already been elected once.

Don't need to make this any more complicated than that.

President Biden is not ruling out debating former President Trump, as the pair prepare for a likely head-to-head match-up in November’s presidential election.

“It depends on his behavior,” Biden said when asked Friday whether he’d commit to a debate with the former president.

(snip)

The Biden campaign dismissed Trump’s call for debates as “thirsty for attention” just before the president took the podium to deliver the high-profile State of the Union address Thursday evening.

get a picture of the policy differences. Not one person shouting over the other with his talking points.

The microphones should be shut off when not answering a direct question. Since TFG can talk so loud it can be picked up on President Biden's mic, they should consider putting them in different studios. They can hear each other but not be allowed to talk over each other. They can both be seen via what is called in the business a "2 box" or split screen.

It's unlikely the magats would agree to this.

I agree that the moderators must control the mics. I have mixed feelings on two studios. I would be against the idea with anyone but Trump. Trump's disruptive behavior makes it a reasonable idea.

'Moderators' with spines would be nice. Putting Trump in a shock collar like 'invisible fence' would be nice. Instant fact-checking should be required. Yeah, debate the orange turd.

There is a time to every thing ... and the time for Presidential debates, you might remember, is in the fall. I will gladly accept your offer for the Presidential debates to be run, as is the norm, by the non partisan committee on mutually acceptable dates.

I feel like we go through this every election year, where there's talk of calling off the debates, but they always happen.

my opinion that Americans are owed proper debates so they can see for themselves what they are voting for. Joe Biden will have no issue handling this.
However, I would say that in order to cut out the slanted media control, the candidates should be able to provide the questions for their opponent rather than allowing a moderator or the news outlet control the entire thing. We've seen what they do, and they can't be trusted to be fair and not inject their own biases into the flow, that needs to be eliminated as a problem.

Not between Biden and trump, anyway.
I'll bet that trump will have so decompensated by any proposed debates that everybody will know he's demented - even the MAGAs - and the Repubs will be scrambling for a candidate.
That.. or trump will have a stroke or heart attack and be out of the running.

Or possibly at Mar-a-largo itself. (to monetize on the event) I would reject it and mention something about TSF’s fear of extradition.
