His parents helped him through it by sending him to summer camps for stutterers where they also ran a lot as part of the therapy.
Hugely helped him. He went to college on a track scholarship. He is very accomplished in many other ways as well. Smart businessman.
A former Republican (until he met and married my sister 20 years ago)
This whole Trump/Stutter thing making fun of Biden is very offensive to our family.
And I believe it will not play well with independents. And I also believe it wont play well with any Republicans that have an ounce of empathy for disabled people (family or otherwise).

(22,507 posts)has some learning issues but I'm not sure what they are. My brother and his wife voted for tfg twice and it pissed me off - because of the way tfg made fun of the journalist with a physical problem. The stuttering thing hadn't come up yet. But they are all in the fundy cult so it is hard to even understand them.
My brother passed last July. I had always hoped we could become friends again but....such is life, and death.
