4. Unfortunately, Trump is a symptom and not the disease.

Getting rid of him would obviously help, but the GOP is loaded with people who are just different versions of Trump, pushing the same agenda.

We (or the GOP itself) will need to replace a lot of them -- and find a way to deprogram his cultish followers -- before any kind of healing will be possible.

Beating Trump in November (again) will be a good start, though.

I don't like it one bit but I understand why there's often hyper-fixation on various oozing sores.
We'll be lucky to recover from this disease.
