From Jpost: https://www.jpost.com/breaking-news/article-789604Dozens of Gazans wounded after ambushing aid truck
Dozens of Palestinians in Gaza were injured following an ambush and looting of humanitarian aid trucks, with the IDF responding to the situation, Israeli media reported on Thursday.
Gazans were reportedly trampled and crushed after they looted humanitarian aid trucks entering the northern Gaza Strip. The IDF ensured the trucks were allowed to proceed into Gaza, as local residents surrounded the trucks. During the incident, dozens of Gazans were injured as a result of pushing and trampling, as well as by IDF fire.
The incident is under review, according to the IDF.

Massacre: Dozens killed by Israeli fire in Gaza while collecting food aid
Over 81 killed and about 700 wounded after Israeli forces fired at Palestinians trying to get flour for families as famine stalks the Strip.
Dozens of Palestinians have been killed and more than 700 others wounded after Israeli troops opened fire on hundreds waiting for food aid southwest of Gaza City, as the besieged enclave faces an unprecedented hunger crisis.
Gaza ministry of health said on Thursday that the death toll has risen to 81 and more than 700 others wounded, with the Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemning what it said was a cold-blooded massacre.
--------
People had congregated at al-Rashid Street, where aid trucks carrying flour were believed to be on the way. Al Jazeera verified footage showing the bodies of dozens of killed and wounded Palestinians being carried onto trucks as no ambulances could reach the area.
We went to get flour. The Israeli army shot at us. There are many martyrs on the ground and until this moment we are withdrawing them. There is no first aid, said one witness.
Reporting from the scene, Al Jazeeras Ismail al-Ghoul said that after opening fire, Israeli tanks advanced and ran over many of the dead and injured bodies. It is a massacre, on top of the starvation threatening citizens in Gaza, he said.

(2,434 posts)1. Jpost calls it an ambush...
But if course it wasn't an ambush in the usual sense of the word. Jpost is being unnecessarily obtuse about what happened.

Reuters have just reported on a statement from the Israeli military on the attacks in Gaza City on Thursday.
An Israeli source said Israeli troops opened fire on Thursday at several people among a crowd that surrounded aid trucks in the Gaza Strip after feeling under threat.
Gaza health authorities had said more than 70 people waiting for aid were killed by Israeli fire, but a Gaza health ministry spokesperson said the death toll has now risen to 104 people.
In a statement, the Israeli military said dozens of people were injured in pushing and trampling that occurred as they tried to take aid from the trucks. It said the incident was under review.

A witness told AFP the incident occurred at the Nabulsi roundabout in the western part of Gaza City, when thousands of people rushed towards the trucks.
Trucks full of aid came too close to some army tanks that were in the area and the crowd, thousands of people, just stormed the trucks, the witness told AFP, declining to be named for safety reasons. The soldiers fired at the crowd as people came too close to the tanks.
The UN estimates that 2.2 million people, the vast majority of Gazas population, are threatened with famine, particularly in the north where destruction, fighting and looting make the delivery of food almost impossible.

If you mean "reporting on what is happening in Gaza until November" ("this critical time" ), then fuck no. Why is reporting on the Middle East "dividing Dems"? Not a Democrat mentioned in the OP .

I have been supporting Israel, but this a bit of a deal breaker for me. Now is the time for Biden to bring this up the Netanyahu. Israel should pay the price.
