Our theme is "now that is love". Valentine's. Any photo depicting love. The theme was expanded to include not only romantic love, but other forms of it as well, AND not confined to humans.

Our DU Photography Forum is dedicated to not only sharing our photos, but also discussing photography as an art, a skill, and a means of communication. Please keep those criteria in mind when voting.

12. Goodbye pulled at my heartstrings. I have sat beside a bed like this.

I was reading to my mom when she passed. That beautiful poem, Evolution by Langdon Smith - a wonderful rhythm of words. Then, I knew her time was coming and switched to the 23rd Psalm. When we were walking through the valley of the shadow, her spirit left.

She was a good mother, and I have many wonderful memories of her.
