Billionaire Kevin O'Leary(Shark Tank Judge) is mad because business owners & investors can't commit fraud.

Yeah, there is a clip of his CNN interview of him upset that he can't commit fraud any more in NY State. Now he will have to do it in Oklahoma and the Dakota's.

If you or I lie on a mrtgage application, we get arrested.

The economic system is so rigged for the rich, they lie and steal with impunity and then complain when the minimum amount of integrity is required.

No other reason. Now, the super wealthy are going to pitch a temper tantrum that "one of their own" is going to be accountable and they are wondering who could be next. It was the same reason the GOPers were doing backflips and somersaults in the aisles when Biden signed the IRS enforcement legislation trying to lie to ordinary working Americans that the gestapo was coming after them.

They all use "voodoo accounting" and take "questionable deductions" and if caught, just pay a fine out of the money they have stolen from working people.

1. Investigate this asshole. Fraud is a crime everywhere. This is NOT a victimless crime. Banks have only so much money to lend, Trump got a favorable rate from banks BECAUSE he lied about how much his existing assets are worth, banks want to minimize their costs so they ARE NOT sending people with tape measures to Trump tower to measure the sq ft of the asset Trump pledged to get his loan. The banks would rather lend their money to just a few borrowers because it costs them less to "service the loan". So they lend to Trump and other billionaires. If you or I go to the bank... and borrow $150K instead of his $150M... that is 1000 more loans they need to service. Who gets hurt by the fraud here... the rest of us that may want a second mortgage to fix up the house or do an addition. You can BET that we will pay the higher interest rate on our non-fraudulent loans.

Not to mention that just because Trump repaid the loans to the banks... doesn't mean that some event may have caused him to default ( he has declared bankruptcy many times ). And then you can BET the banks would be screaming about the fraud that caused them to loan him money in the first place.

2. Nobody is building Data Centers in "fly over New York" ( an insane characterization of New York ). Of course they are being built in locals where there are the following: Cheap land (not NYC), Cheaper and plentiful power (New York may have power, but it won't be cheap, and plenty of water ( data centers need lots of water for cooling the equipment, even the air cooled devices eventually are cooled at the air handlers with water heat exchangers and... more power ). Moving the data center further north is now a common practice too, as both higher latitudes reduce the cooling cost. Last, Data centers are moving rapidly into only unskilled labor needed, and damn few of them. There is no need for skilled IT administrators to be located at the data centers anymore. Most operate in a "lights out" mode... the skilled staff are remote, in an office or from home in a desirable place to live.. the onsite people are usually security and janitorial staff with just a few semi-skilled people to do physical maintenance. All of which can be found in rural American like North Dakota for less money than a city like New York. But the Dakotas still have one drawback... ground transportation or air transport for delivery of spare parts and new equipment. That is why you see smaller but still big enough for decent connections cities like Reno NV and similar locations getting new DCs/

While at the same time punishing the civic-minded, the public-spirited, the selfless willing to sacrifice for their fellows?

Three guesses.
