It was the constant, insidious "but her emails" that helped bring Hillary Clinton down.
I do not know it they-the Repugs-have a single motto yet-but they will.
The BBC gets it

Times now has 4 stories about Bidens age on the front page while burying Trumps outbursts
Cable TV suggests Bidens age is a *bigger* prob than Trumps indictments

(46,276 posts)Trump can't unilaterally pull out of NATO, but let's say he and Congress don't pay into it.
Trump has put on record that non-paying NATO nations should be susceptible to attack by Russia.
If the US is non-paying, doesn't that put us on the proverbial list? And should we expect NATO to come to our defense?

(47,721 posts)They assume they are safe as long as they let Russia have Europe.
The GOP is so naive and arrogant they assume no one can touch them.
They will apparently have to learn things the hard way.
And all of us will suffer.

(2,233 posts)I was pleasantly surprised when the local CBS station reported on Trumps comments on the local news this morning. I quit watching the NBC affiliate in the morning because one of the anchors couldnt help but show her right wing bias. The CBS station is much more neutral (as in unbiased reporting, not centrist). They report on Bidens age (which certainly seems like the rights only line of attack these days), but they also talk about Trumps myriad trials and the crazy stuff he says. Still, this was given the gravitas it deserves. Even for a station I appreciate for not overtly playing to one side, this was a strong statement about how he crossed a line even magats will find difficult to defend.
