I condemned Hamas before it was fashionable.

I always kept a raised eyebrow at the Likud Party, broadly, and Bibi more narrowly.

My raised eyebrow has changed. I now stand with those Israelis who want Bibi gone.




I have tried to stay out of the DU debate on the whole Israel / Palestine situation. I intend to continue to do so. But i simply had to say this.

This is all just so horribly tragic for the innocents. Their "collateral damage." Babies and children and music festival fans. Innocents. All of them. Both sides have tragic innocents getting murdered. My heart just breaks for them all.

He's just still standing in for unity reasons. Gantz is in charge of prosecuting Israel’s war against Hamas. When the war is over, Bibi and much of his cabinet will be removed from their positions.

This is a war and people die. I would prefer that hamas let the Palestinians move South to avoid the civilian deaths.
It would also be nice if Egypt allowed the Palis into Egypt but that will not happen. Would you let hyenas into your home.

The people in charge don't want peace. And the people who want peace are not in charge. So plenty of normal people are forced to endure pain and punishment in perpetuity without much choice in what's happening to them.
