That may be part of the problem. I got my Covid booster and Flu shot yesterday. The Rite Aid pharmacist said, "Can you believe how long this has lasted?" and I replied, "Yes, they told us back in 2020 that it would take 3-4 years for it to become less severe" and we discussed not even needing the vax card anymore. However this fall's newest version is a monovalent and I have seen a number of people report that their pharmacies haven't received a shipment of that newest one yet and opted to go ahead and get what was available (the older bivalent which I assume some places are still using to get rid of their inventory of it).

I believe you can actually go ahead and get the latest one at least 2 months after the shot you got (obviously based on availability although I assume by then it should be more widely distributed).

we are supposed to be infected over and over again with Covid because politicians and public health officials don't want to tell people that even if vaccinated, you can still get Covid and become disabled or die. Like my vaxxed/double boosted dad died of Covid.

Good masks are needed in indoor places to stop the constant spread of Covid.

I didn't get the flu for over 30 years and now I am expected to get infected with Covid 3 or 4x a year so politicians can pretend the pandemic is over and not upset anyone by mentioning masks? I'm beyond disgusted.

I've been horribly sick with chest pains, shortness of breath, sore throat, congestion, fever, and exhaustion for a week and I'm assuming it's Covid because several members of my household have Covid. I wear a N95 mask whenever I leave the house, but my husband is a fool who doesn't and he brings this evil virus into our home.

I hope you are okay, Botany, and will give a good update soon.
