How often do you worry about the Southern border?

And specifically, the Fentanyl that is coming over from Mexico.

First we need immigrants. We have a hellacious future if we don't start massive projects to protect our coasts, We need to welcome them and bring them to areas where we need infrastructure support/creation.

How long is that dang line going to be when I'm walking back from Tijuana? It was four hours long the last time, so I paid the $50 to cut to the front.

Wasn't bad when I drove over a couple of years ago, phone sent me on a wild ride and some serious streets in need of repair, but I was through in 15 minutes.

I want to know how the people crossing a river on foot in deadly heat are able to transport a bunch of fentanyl without getting it wet.

I’ve got men and women working for me for over 20 years. Some with green cards, some not. most trying to get legal. Whenever they visit family in Mexico we worry about what might happen to them in transit.

I worry that we're wasting money on a nothing burger.
I worry that we're violating Mexico's sovereignty with a lethal response.
I worry that we're creating an ecological disaster by limiting the natural movement of endangered people.
And most importantly - I think we're trying to scapegoat an ethnic group as a way to ignore the theft and crimes by the actual criminals.

Tonight they are being blamed for 70000 fentanyl deaths. A statistic pulled from some Republican's ass.

Yeah, point to someone else for our faults - so helpful.

There are no perfect answers to border issues, but I much prefer Democratic approach. Don’t believe the issue is as bad as many seem to think.

Wish we could find a solution, even if it means some kind of investment with Mexico and others.

they use planes, boats, submarines, tunnels. you could put a german Shepard every ten ten feet the length of the border and not stop the drugs.

about all the contraband coming over the border concealed in commercial shipments. Not just Fentanyl and cocaine, but also shoddy counterfeit goods

When someone suggests increasing staff to do border inspections of commercial cargo, I may pay attention.

The human beings attempting to escape misery I hope find their dreams here.
