It only get's worse from here

There won't be any evidence forthcoming that exonerates Trump for his crimes.

There won't be any last-minute witnesses crawling out of the woodwork with information that can save him.

There won't be any lawyers showing up with some brilliant legal strategy that gets him off-the-hook.

There won't be any GOP propaganda that will alter the course of justice.

There won't be any whining about being persecuted that will change the law.

There is nothing that Donald Trump or his party can do to stop what is already in motion, or to stave off the inevitable consequences thereof.

All they're left with at this point is a bunch of rats who are deserting a sinking ship in order to save their own skins.

There isn't a day in Trump's life that isn't worse than the day before - and I, for one, am savouring every moment of that reality.

9. A hung jury is not an acquittal

In the E. Jean Carroll case, the verdict (although civil) was unanimous. In order for one jurist to acquit with this overwhelming evidence, he or she would have to commit perjury. And it looks like they would have to find one of those jurors (who, by the way, are vetted for contributions and political activity) in at least 4 different cases, all in different jurisdictions.

I like our odds, and I like the way the evidence is mounting.

Now I hope the J6 indictment also include trump and all the congress degenerates as defendants that took part in crimes and attempted election fraud.

After which, it will be day after day after day of boring nothingness in a solitary 6x9 gray cell. No cokes or hamburgers. Since he doesn't read, no books. No TV. No audience to cheer his antics. Not even family visits. Just gray nothingness forever and ever.

Not to mention the timing has become critical relative to the 2024 election. I agree that the chickens have come home to roost but the delays are consequential and the need for Repugs to keep feeding red meat to the rabid Trump base means any justice could be thwarted by future pardons.
