I have a close friend who is also my guitar player (we have a little band, I am the drummer and vocalist) who is a liberal Democrat and yet I KNOW he is gonna watch, so I dont even wanna know about it or talk about it with him. GRRRRRR.

(2,133 posts)and they are not connected to the PGA tour or Liv. They run all the amateur championships. The same goes with the Open in Britain. The PGA players took it on the chin. Here is the link to the USGA website. It is also the place where amateurs keep their handicap.

(15,265 posts)proper rules are in place to protect the integrity of the sport.so the distinction is IMO a moot point The tour has been bought by Mr. Bonesaw..

(2,133 posts)What Phil did was to sell out the sport for his own financial gain. He and his fellow liv players launched a lawsuit saying the PGA is a monopoly.
What they have now is a way worse monopoly with the addition of the DP tour part of the Bonesaw enterprise.
The new boss is the same the old boss but worse.

I, personally, could not conceive of me ever playing or watching golf.
I know a number of people who enjoy playing, and some of them watch it on TV.

I have a friend in Pennsylvania who visited me last week. I asked her about fetterman and she literally had no idea who I was talking about. I was shocked but realize shes probably more in the majority than we think. She only votes in presidential years. Go figure.

Which is why I brought it up here, unfortunately you are correct more than half of this country or almost half dont even bother to vote let alone care whats actually going on.
