Those sure are not the colors of the Miami Dolphins, the Green Bay Packers, the Yakult Swallows.

who have to make these calls. Intensity requires intensity, and its not being framed as just a blue/red thing, a la every campaign/election special. Its a pretty unique and consequential day.
Limited options, graphically. Im cutting them some slack. Besides, it is the people and their voices that I am tuning in to experience.

(24,334 posts)producing high end business stationery. The 80s in Silicon Valley was a spectcular time and place for business graphics. This was all pre-digital. Photo typesetting, art boards photographed by giant cameras to make negatives to burn plates from, etc. And the venure capital being thrown around (and away) was crazy. I printed 1,000 business cards for a client that cost $1,000.

Computers came in during the middle of my career so I had a foot in both worlds. Ended up working with Photoshop, InDesign, Quark, Illustrator and other computer programs for newspapers and magazines.
Kinda glad I'm out with the coming of AI, deep fakes, ChatGPT and all where one doesn't have to develop real skills, just use the artificial intelligence to do the work for you.
It's getting to the point where who knows what's real anymore. They're even reproducing old masters' paintings and some idiots are claiming they're better than the originals, which of course is ridiculous as ya can't imitate actual creation and paint on canvas, brush strokes and thick texture like Van Gogh with AI.
