Could this scenario happen? Trump declares victory in negotiating Putin's retreat from Ukraine. This helps Trump win the election. In exchange, Trump turns America into a fascist state with Putin pulling the strings.

I guess if one has no clue that the Federal government is not just POTUS but actually a large collection of elected and unelected officials that have all taken oaths to the Constitution and to govern in the interests of the people, maybe then these conspiracy theories could have some validity. It is always amazing in the election cycle when someone says they are going to vote for Candidate XYZ because they will lower taxes or stop foreign aid or whatever. Things that ACTUALLY take the action of Congress, maybe the blessing of SCOTUS or a myriad of actions of the vast government establishment to become policy or a new direction. Whatever that Putin/Trump thing is, why didn't it happen when he was already Prez? Sheesh!

11. Did you miss how close we came to Trump overthrowing our Democracy? If a handful of individuals

had been Trump stooges, America could be looking very different right now. This isn't a conspiracy theory. It is something that almost happened. We have no idea what went down between Trump and Putin, how many government secrets Trump gave away, or what may have been the intentions during what may have been assumed to be Trump's second term win.
