Thank you, Mr. President, Mr. Carter... Jimmy.

The living embodiment of kindness, humility, and a Christ-like life (Beatitudes Jesus, not the prosperity gospel one), Jimmy Carter has exemplified this advice:

“Do all the good you can,
By all the means you can,
In all the ways you can,
In all the places you can,
At all the times you can,
To all the people you can,
As long as ever you can.”

I hope he is comforted by those he loves, and those he loves are comforted by a life and legacy of genuine integrity as he ends this journey.

May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest, Mr. President.
