(7,853 posts)a senior photo host explained why it probably wouldn't be a good idea. And I agreed. But I'm tempted every time I see the new crop of photos to distribute votes as though they were valentines.

The stones each look as though they have origins in different environments, and aren't anywhere near identical, and the cactus reminds us that living things seek the sun and then eat it. The plant can grow, and it will, flying its tiny green flag. The photo makes many statements using the simplest and quietest of materials. Splendid.
