I have been consistently voting ever since reading a LTTE by a WWII vet who said if you don't vote, you may just as well not be ABLE to vote..... something to that effect..............

but this time feels different, and to me, it IS different. There's a chance the repugs could take away the money I've been setting aside in Social Security since I was a young teenager and leave me with nothing. Honestly don't know how we'd live if that would happen. The house is ours, but there are taxes, utilities that have to be paid. And, of course, that doesn't count food for us or the cats. It's been worrisome enough to nearly push me into a mental breakdown last week. Had to have a long talk with hubby about what was going on with me.

I voted very early this time, so I guess that makes me more motivated. I'm definitely more concerned than in typically midterm elections.
