1,346 civilians have been found dead in the Kyiv oblast after the retreat of Russian forces,

according to the region’s police chief. In a new Kyiv Independent report, Andriy Nebytov is cited saying that about 300 individuals are still missing, adding that 700 of those killed were shot with small arms such as a handgun.

But then I would think it would have to be a number of Russian soldiers with hand guns doing the shooting with a group of civilians. One solder with a hand gun could be over come by a group of civilians who could also run away.

During WWII the Nazis would make civilians dig a huge trench and line them up in front of the trench. Then a group of Nazi soldiers would shoot the civilians with rifles.

This began to traumatize the Nazi soldiers so the German command decided to do mass killings with poison gas and invented the crematoriums.

Doesn't sound like the Russian soldiers are traumatized at all.

During WWII, when Americans caught a German soldier they would use the threat of turning them over to the Russians as a very effective way to get them to cough up classified intel. The Germans were terrified of the Russians.
