Its my car, my choice, my freedom.
The effectiveness of winter tires is not proven, except by studies carried out by the manufacturers (surprising eh!?!).
My neighbor Sylvia had an accident after putting on her winter tires.
Some are already on their third set of tires, which proves their ineffectiveness.
Do we really know what they are made of?
The tire giants scare us with winter just to enrich themselves.
In fact, the tire giants invented snow and spread it at night when you sleep.
If I have tires, the government can track me in the snow.
Educate yourself, open your eyes, stop being sheep!
This year, winter tires, I say no!

(1,160 posts)They want to know where you are going (GPS, not just in the snow) and can control which direction you can go. Also, they can magnetize your car. Try getting your keys off the dashboard!

(25,973 posts)but, seriously, I havent done snow tires for many years. If roads have several inches of snow, I refuse to drive in it. If all-season radials wont take me where I want to go, I just dont go until the snow plows have been there.

(5,182 posts)I live in Alabama, and if there's a forecast of snow, I can just lay up until it melts, as long as I go to the store immediately, and buy up all the milk, bread and eggs I can carry!
