1. Unfortunately, gas prices are up about 30+% from year ago. Fact that we have to deal with or ignore.

due to a large number of Americans working from home or too nervous to get out and shop.

Simple supply and demand economics that appears to be lost on the media and a huge chunk of America.

7. Zone Pricing

Gas suppliers in the Washington area practice zone pricing. Affluent ares such as Capitol Hill, Upper Northwest DC and Bethsda-Chevy Chase will have higher gas prices. Same in Virginia for places like McLean and Oakton. I live in Fairfax and the price varies between $3.29 to $3.49 depending on the area. Blitzer is looking for clicks on his Twitter account and he should be called out for this as it is not responsible nor accurate journalism.
