(12,159 posts)I had no real reaction from the 1st, but Thursday I woke feeling peaky. I had no fever but felt alternately hot and chilled. Acetaminophen really helped so that I could do my daily duties. With luck, Hill Country lawyer (?) your experience will be milder. Just don't treat yourself with aspirin or NSAIDs

(34,195 posts)I get my second one tomorrow.
Friends have told me that after their second one they had flu like symptoms, chills and a fever of around 102 for about a day and a half.
Also they were extra sleepy throughout that time plus just feeling really lethargic.
Keep us informed.

(90,840 posts)Felt good Wednesday. Now all I have to do is figure out what to do with my new-found freedom.
Hubby went to work as usual that is, he walked into his home office and booted up his computer. Mentioned some aches, but refused Tylenol. Strong.

(57,290 posts)... hell, yeah.
We're trying to show our confidence in the vaccine program and what happens to our community, to encourage that not only is the vaccine effective, but that the side effects are tolerable and only a day or two long. There's a hard core 30% of Americans who plan to not get the vaccine for a bunch of reasons. We need to make the all the doubts they have exposed for the neo-folk tales they are.

Also, from a previous back injury, I have some muscle relaxers for the stiffness and some hydrocodone for headaches, etc.

(57,290 posts)... first shot. And today's only reinforces it.
We're getting into shape to change some shit around this country, and Joe Biden is just the guy to lead us there.
Remember last October or September when the then WH had "experts" who said that even if vaccine was produced as fast as possible with the military procurement act, it would take three or four years to get everyone vaccinated?
Joe'll have it done in six months and already is helping to get vaccine sent to other countries.
