Last edited Thu Oct 11, 2012, 12:35 PM - Edit history (1)

Imagine my pleasure this morning when I heard Stephanie reading the latest EarlG list of Romney position shifts with many giggles and a side of snark.

Ya done good, EarlG!

... call her show telling her the same BULLSHIT you did. Yet she's still filling EVERY venue and has a VERY successful radio program without ever caving to "do-it-like-I-want-you-to experts" such as yourself. She just shines them on and keeps doing what she does so very well. Don't like her style? Don't fucking listen. Problem solved.

generous warm-hearted person and i like her show just not so much her input. all the content i get that i like from the show is usually not from her. btw that charactorization of her show is from her, she'll be the first one to tell you that "they bring the smarts, she brings the farts". that's not my description.

oh and there is political content you just have to sit thru self promotional ads, her celebrity stack , stories about childhood toys she almost killed herself with, stories about max and fred, guests who wont talk politics.

I love it when people yell from the rooftops about their lack of clue.

Or the belief that others don't have one. It's comedy. Topical comedy. Hence the need for topics.

Obviously, you do not know much about the Stephie. She has one of the quickest wits around. I have been a fan of hers since her days debating Bay Buchanan on their show "Equal Time" about Clinton's penis back in the day. No one ever has had quicker and wittier comebacks that I have known since then, except maybe Gore Vidal. Just because she borrows from other wits, like they all do because they are doing daily shows, doesn't make it any less so.

btw the drinking thing is a gag, like her future husbands joke. You should know that if you every listened to her and weren't reading a criticism of her off a piece of paper someone handed to you.

i've listened to her for years. the show has become everyone but steph on her show. she has several people on her show everyday to carry the show. she gets guests on and reads what they wrote back to them. many guests dont have any political views so why have them on in the political talk format. the show was becoming more of an info-mercial for the sexy comedy tour.
steph is a quick-witted comedian but i tune to the station for political talk and for the most part that's not her show.
remember oliver,- her back up AND her blackup what happened to them ?, when she was late to her show was locked out of the bldg and said fuck on the air. sanchez from montebello.i've listened to her a long time

I love the show. Wouldn't miss it in the morning with my coffee.

I think the references to her wine drinking are likely exaggerated, and I seriously doubt that it interferes with her job. She sounds pretty sharp to me.

It's comedy, but they also do a great job at shredding wing-nuts. What's not to like?
