It just kind of hit me as Rep. Plaskett is laying out the shananigans...

It's not just Trump on trial nor the GOP nor the insurrectionists nor even his cultists. This is an accounting, for the entire world to see, don't forget, every cross burner, swastika painter, fire bomber, and tiki torch thug on the Right going way back before Trump was making sitcom cameos let alone putting ugly-ass curtains in the Oval Office.

Way overdue, IMHO and high praise to the Gentlewoman from the Virgin Islands.

to convict. I know some people are wondering what the point of this Impeachment is if Republicans won't vote to convict. I think we know what the point is, and it will be part of the historical record.
