Are the things about "47%" and "takers" denial that there is class warfare against the poor?

I think that Republicans and conservatives actually know that there is class warfare against the poor and the middle class going on, but they want to deny that it exists, they refuse to acknowledge that the American dream is being strangled, so they play the enabler and they just stick their fingers in their ears and shout "socialism!"

The quote about about 47 percent is a good example of just how defensive they are. OK, let's assume 47 percent are mooches, the unemployment rate is nowhere near that. Why aren't around 40 percent of the population satisfied, why do they think they are entitled to housing and food as Romney says... but they are getting paid? Quite a leap of logic right there.

Hopefully this can not go on much longer, maybe there are plenty of Republicans already waking up to this plutocratic siege of the United States going on. Maybe.

...I am hopeful it is a wake up call for us ALL, that community isn't a nasty word, that yes, we can do more together than apart.

Humans survived through previous earth changes because of the fact that we are social animals. Nobody goes it alone for long and makes it out alive when Mother Nature is playing...and unfortunately, humanity may be in for another roll sooner than we think.

the pattern of fatcats taking all they can before finally breaking things so badly they don't work for ANYBODY and then the reasonable people put the pieces back together and put in place checks and balances against the evils of human nature that causes so much pain...Hopefully we will all learn how to pull together and give everyone a chance sooner rather than later. I'd be willing to bet money that the next big inventor or something is someone who is right now living in poverty, waiting for the opportunity to share...

3. In my mind, the Romeny statements about the 47% were confirmation

that there is class warfare against millions of people. His very words confirmed that the 47% don't matter, that those folks are leeches and that they have no economic rights because they don't pay taxes (which is a lie). How much clearer can class warfare be than to have a gazillionaire stand before a group of people and say that the average lower and middle income American does not contribute financially to society and therefore don't matter? It confirms their belief that every economic policy should benefit the wealthy "job creators" and let the peons fend for themselves.
