Since 2007 he has been NBC’s political director, which means he has influence over all coverage. He is literally the in-house expert on the subject. You don’t get to claim you are naive about politics when you have these kinds of positions. It would be like a chief risk officer saying, “I didn’t understand the gamble we were taking.” Well, that’s your job.

Love Ali Velshi too. There is a firm comfort that everything is under control with him. Not with Toady. I turn MSNBC off every time hes on and I'm about sick of Andrea Mitchell too. She is getting worse and worse. I can lose my train of thought with her constant hesitations. I'll have to start a email/phone/letter campaign against them soon. Don't need them mucking up this new administration!
