Here on DU, there are clearly a lot of posters who have not thoroughly read the document. I base that on some of the ideas that get posted here. Too many posters clearly don't know what is in that document.

I think they should read it, and the link given leads to an easily readable copy of the Constitution of the United States.

Have you read it in recent years? Are you familiar with the entire document? If not, I suggest that you click on that link and do so today. It's not that long, really. You can read it in an hour or two. You have time for that, right?

I have posted links to it many times on DU. It belongs here. People need to read it, so they will understand how our system of government is designed to operate and so they will not believe everything they read during this period.

Besides, it should be obvious that the poster asking that question was most likely doing it with tongue in cheek, considering how Republicans are the ones who need to read the Constitution more than anyone.
