Has anyone studied the impact of impeachment on the Congressional elections?

Asking this because I was speaking with an old friend who was slightly involved with a re-elect campaign in a district that was flipped in 18. According to him, in the polling they did, the democrat's vote for impeaching Trump was far more damaging than any other issue. Now this is just one poll in one district. It could be a complete outlier. So am wondering there has been any other polls or studies done about this. Thanks.

Along with inability to walk away from the socialist label. I saw no evidence in Iowa that impeachment was even used. Ernst didn't run on saving Trump from unjust accusations for example.
