First, I trust his judgement completely. Probably more than any other President elected in my lifetime. He knows government and how things work in Washington. And he knows who will be most effective at getting things done.
Second, it's his administration. He has the right to assemble his chosen team.
Third, most of the complaints that I've heard about some of the picks have nothing to do with the person's ability to do the job but are about optics. Oh please. We need competent people, not someone for a photo op to check a box off of some political correctness list.
And finally, if one of your favorites doesn't get picked for a position, please don't whine about it. We've has 4 years of a fanboy Presidency, now let the grownups clean mess and get things done.

(25,276 posts)For pete sakes - they had to eat all of Trump's totally unqualified people. Now we have our guy in the drivers seat who knows what he's doing and these same Senators & Reps are questioning Biden's picks.
Any of Biden's picks are a 1000 times better than anyone Trump ever appointed.
Come on now - let him do his job and just support him. Don't criticize him before he even gets started. You're sending out the wrong message to the Repugs. Stop it!!!

(21,110 posts)I am going to differ with you in one small way. I do NOT trust his judgment completely. That sounds too much like something a trumper would say about OrangeAnus. No, I am not comparing you nor demeaning you for your believing in our nest President.
It's just that complete unwavering loyalty, IMO, should be reserved for your wife or husband, not a political figure. It is OUR job as citizens to always question our leaders. WE are the checks and balances in Democracy. JMO.

all of them are lightyears better than what we have now;
and we have to start undoing the damage and anything
they do will help, I'm sure.
