Let remember that 'Never Trump' Republicans are still Republicans

which is why I believe that while Trump was defeated the Democratic Party didn't do better in down ballot races, losing seats in the House and not yet winning the Senate. Many of these Never Trump Republicans either voted for Biden or skipped voting for President then came home voting for Lindsey Graham or Susan Collins and all the GOP candidates for down ballot races.

Let's also not forget that the GOP did a great job on the ground, registering new voters and getting their voters out to the polls. It remains to be seen how many of these first time Republican voters were Trump cultists who will stay home in future now that he is no longer at the top of the ticket.

Now we have 2 run offs for control of the Senate in Georgia. We will need to focus on our ground game and get Democratic voters out in big numbers to win.

And military spending to boost their state election chances.

Let's hope the media does not start attacking every small error the Dems make as if it was anything like the monstrous shit we have had to deal with from drumpf

Of course, they may well do exactly that.

If that starts remind them how feeblly they treated drumpf's lies

Then politely answer their questions

It's ok for there to be republicans as long as they aren't ass hole republicans who support or advocate for the policies of the recent republican party. At some point we have to return to a place where we can disagree civilly and productively and listen and learn from people who don't see things the same way. We have to find a way to see where we have things in common instead of just where we differ. If not, we're doomed.

with plenty of tit for tat alerts. There are plenty of issues that need scrutiny like what went wrong in Florida and how/why were Dem House seats lost, yet you choose to attack a positive for Biden's win.

That is a mischaracterization of what I wrote. And I'm not talking about the Lincoln Project either. I'm talking about the average Never Trump Republican who didn't vote for Trump but still remained loyal Republicans down ballot. That is not attacking them or saying they are bad or evil people. But it is noting what happened in this election.

Trump received SLIGHTLY fewer votes than down-ballot Republicans, but Biden received significantly more votes than down-ballot Democrats.

It makes me wonder if several Biden/Harris voters ONLY voted in the Presidential election, but not the others.

I haven't bothered to look for similar patterns elsewhere in the country.

I voted all-Democrat in all races, as usual, but I doubt others did.
