I was so naive 4 years ago

I never thought he would last 4 years in office. I had no real conception of how a sociopath could surround himself with enablers and stop following rules and norms he did not like. I didn't realize that the 25th could be defanged. And I still can't believe that over a third of the adult people in this country continue to support him.

There were a great many of us who didn't think Trump would last. That includes Keith Olbermann. If you've ever seen hi series of commentaries, The Resistance, you'll know what I mean.

Take heart. We're witnessing history.

The most unAmerican behavior imaginable from people who should know better. They've sold the whole damn country down the river for power and the gravy train. The entire Republican Party turned into a squirming pit of treason weasels, taking the knee to frigging Donald Trump.

Disgusting.

Never forget, never forgive. They all need to go.

That reveal WTF was going on with repugs in this era. I've assumed kompromat. If so, what was it? If not, what?

Through back channels. They weren't stupid enough to announce it publicly like dumb trump jr. did.

What shocked me the most was how vulnerable our institutions were and how easily the "rule of law" could be worked around.

What didn't surprise me was the republicans closing ranks around him.
