Vice President Biden talks Medicare and 47% in Florida today

Vice President Joe Biden capped off a two-day tour of Florida in south Fort Myers after speaking to 2,000 people at the Wa-Ke Hatchee Park Recreation Center in south Fort Myers.

Biden discussed Medicare, claiming that the the GOP Medicare plan would cost Americans $850 a year more.


The vice president also addressed concerns over Mitt Romney’s 47 percent comments and drew issue with the “new Republican party”.


Biden left the stage to thundering applause from over 2,000 people at about 12:32 with the help of REO Speedwagon’s “Roll With the Changes”.

or push this I got MINE and it won't affect ME. Well, if they are going to screw the under 55's, they won't screw YOU first chance they get?

2. Sad isn't it? Biden talked about the number of seniors who rely on dual medicaid and medicare

benefits for nursing home costs and how they would be hurt in all of this. I was glad he brought that up.
