When your career is done I think you should consider one in politics.
I'm not a Packers fan but I have been very impressed with Rodgers in general. I Know he's show support for Obama and he talks about his faith like it's something personnal not something to shove in everyone else's face.
You Cheeseheads have a classy guy there as your QB!

I look at the person not their family.

(36,505 posts)and product of that left coast institution of higher learning, UC Berkeley. Rodgers grew up in Chico, California. The late great Herb Caen made fun of Chico, California, by saying it was the city where you get Velveeta in the gourmet cheese section. Chico was soon called the "Velveeta capital of the world".

(5,963 posts)He hasn't said much (if anything) about his political views, but he DID sign the Scott Walker recall petition (as did Milwaukee Brewers star Ryan Braun), and he is also the union rep for the Green Bay Packers players. Between that, and his attendance of one of the most liberal schools in the nation, I'd say there's a lot of reason to be hopeful about his political views.
EDIT: Actually, the petition thing may or may not be real (could simply have been other people with the same names). The site sourced for the information isn't what I'd call reliable. Oh well.
