Some people are more motivated, and the teabagging faction are in extreme danger of losing their seats.

I predict a +45 Democratic turnover, recapturing the House, and hopefully make a wiser choice on who the Speaker of the House would be.

Someone with guts, balls, and full steam on his head, ready to gore against Republicans and force them to either put up or shut up.

The Republicans lose the House, fail to capture the Senate and the presidency, and there is an intramural war between Republicans and Tea Baggers. Tea Baggers start their own party, field candidates at all levels to run against the Republicans, and further dilute the right of center vote, thus electing more Democrats at every level.

as wonderful a job as Nancy did and may do again, the Senate BlueDogs kill everything. And though I thought I heard Reid say they were going to fix the filibuster cloture issue, I don't think it's done and seems he's said it before and it didn't get done then either.

was polling about 10 to 1 in numbers of people giving to his campaign as compared to r/rmoney. the last month it was something like the average amount to Obama was but 50 some odd dollars each where with rMoney it was 2400 some odd dollars. Obama actually got more money that rMoney did so that means a lot of people are giving to President O.
Man I love my/our President with all my heart. I actually have hope for our country once more.

Obama is very popular with the average Jane's and Joe's and there is a hell of a lot of us J&J's out here.

Let's get out there and give some $$$ and time for our candidates so that we can make this a reality.

A great place to start: Act Blue:
https://secure.actblue.com/

Democracy For America:
http://www.democracyforamerica.com/

Progressive Democrats For America:
http://pdamerica.org/index.php

And of course, there are the individual websites for these candidates.

FORWARD.

The last on the backs of our Vets. If it is not clear to one that Republican politicians as a group DO NOT CARE about our country, it is because one hasn't been paying attention. Running the show is everything to them. It's not about what's good for America, it's about what's bad for Obama. I, for one, have had my fill.

Many of those teabaggers got in because of the low turnout in the 2010 midterms and did so in seats that were often purple.

The DU Home Page should have info/links to all the House seats that are Up For Grab.

These are just a few, but Google:

Jim Graves, http://jimgraves.com/ (challenging Bachmann)

Wayne Powell - http://www.powellforva.com/ (challenging Cantor)

Rob Zerban - http://www.robzerban.com/ (challenging Ryan)

Regarding Ryan, I really want to see this shit go down in flames. Get a private sector job, you smug, entitled snot. Oh, I know he will, but get him off the public payroll, that he abhors so much!

There are others! Someone had a thread with links, but I didn't bookmark. Argh!

at least 34 wins, according to NY Times district profile data. Each of the 26 leaning-D races we lose, though, adds to that 34 minimum burden. See http://www.democraticunderground.com/10021411003 .

I expect the number of leaning-R districts in the Times's data to drop in coming weeks, and the number of solid blue districts (currently 158) to rise, especially if donors and activists focus their attention on leaning-R, tossup, and leaning-D races.

A total of 218 wins is needed to put Nancy Pelosi back in the Speaker's chair.

Wed Sep 26, 2012, 10:40 PM

Their genius was to create the strategy of not allowing any governing at all to be achieved.
Pure genius!

They would insure the country falls into disarray and then, in spite of doing it themselves in plain view, they planned to blame it all on the Democrats.
They were so sure the American electorate was so utterly stupid that anything the Republicans said, no matter how idiotic, would be believed and embraced.
Fox News showed them this was true.

Well, perhaps the majority of Americans aren't quite as dimwitted as the Republicans think.

If the Senate and House are both in play, as well as the presidency, they just might decide that there was a small miscalculation somewhere.

DUH!
