I do not trust other white women. Centering, entitled, and very willing to vote against those who work for ALL women.
ETA: we can't comment further since the post was removed, but to respond to the comment below - I have many, many amazing white and black women friends. My comment still stands. The problem goes beyond personal friend groups.

(102,419 posts)I don't defend any of the Trump-supporting women, no matter their race/ethnicity. But, I will NOT defend such broad stroke denunciation of an entire group.

(24,783 posts)I don't trust white people of EITHER of the two genders - male, especially.
Stats at present something like 53/39 white men support drumpf.
So ready for a "majority minority" America. In fact, this is the source of their freakout.

(1,865 posts)I am literally a Karen - white middle aged suburban woman who's name is actually Karen and with the exception of the 1984 election have always voted for the Democratic candidate. I believes in women's rights, civil rights, judicial rights and economic rights. And I also live in Orange County, CA. If you recall, in 2018 the entire county - and I mean EVERY SINGLE CONGRESSIONAL SEAT either held for the Democrats or flipped to a Democratic candidate. I have many friends who are also similarly situated who also voted for Dems. White women are no more a monolith than any other demographic. So this one size fits all Karen is insulting.

(13,503 posts)so here, yes, for the most part. I'm a white woman and will move heaven and earth to vote for Biden. (And against Trump.) Most of my friends feel similarly. But this is one geographic area and may not be indicative of other places.
I do see more suburban female friends more comfortable with Biden than with Hillary. That ingrained Misogynistic thinking is real, and it may benefit us this time around. I'm really hoping so.
My mom is voting Biden. SHe's a white Republican woman who has never voted for a D before. If that's indicative of anything...... Fingers crossed.
