9/25 Daily Dose of Joe

Friends -- see below for today's Dose of Joe.

• Joe Biden, Jill Biden, and Kamala Harris will pay their respects to Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg at the U.S. Capitol.

• Tomorrow afternoon, Jill Biden will travel to Maine and deliver remarks on Vice President Biden's build back better plan and meet with loggers, blueberry farmers, nurses, educators, and small business owners in Bangor. After, she will meet with Maine lobstermen and women and tour a lobster boat in Blue Hill.

• In the afternoon, Senator Harris will participate in the virtual 111th NAACP National Convention to discuss racial injustice, the global pandemic, and the Biden-Harris vision for the future of America, which will be open press.

• Biden for President released a new ad featuring a veteran who was severely injured in a blast while serving overseas and lambasts Trump for his reported comments about American soldiers. “Sergeant King” will be on television and digital platforms in key battleground states targeting media markets and areas with a high number of military households and veterans, including Arizona, Florida, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Wisconsin.

• Yesterday, nearly 500 retired top military and national security officials endorsed Joe Biden for President of the United States. In an “Open Letter to America,” the generals, admirals, ambassadors, and other former national security leaders pointed to Joe Biden’s empathy, honesty, experience and leadership as necessary traits required to navigate America through a painful time.

• Yesterday, Paid Leave for the U.S. Action Fund (PL+US Action), a campaign advocating the passage of paid family and medical leave for all Americans by 2022, announced its endorsement of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris for President and Vice President of the United States. In their endorsement of the Biden-Harris ticket, PL+US Action highlighted Vice President Biden’s plan for the caregiving economy – one of the four prongs of his Build Back Better Plan.

@joebiden: Once again, we are called to ask ourselves whether justice could be equally applied in America. But what's clear is that today in America, Black women deserve better.

@joebiden: The Trump Administration says "the entire ACA must fall." They are arguing to strip millions of Americans of health care in the middle of a pandemic. We can't let him win.
