For all those afraid that Trump won't go peacefully if not re-elected,

rest assured he may mouth-off his BS, but he is a coward at heart. On Jan 20, Biden will be sworn in as POTUS. There are more than enough Fed judges, who would be honored to administer the oath of office. But John Roberts will no doubt do the honors. One week earlier, the WH staff will be busy packing the Trump belongings and moving them out. Cleaning the WH residence and moving in the Bidens' stuff in. (Let's hope they count all the silver too!) The Secret Service and the US Marshalls will deftly escort the Trumps to a waiting helicopter. All the bru-ha-ha about Trump not going peacefully is merely Trump getting the MSMedia to talk about himself. If you haven't learned by now that Trump shoots his mouth daily to stir the pot and keep the chaos boiling -- well where have you been for the last 4 years?

Our only hope is a lopsided win with in person voting, but then Trump will all of a sudden pull a 180 on mail in ballots, and refuse to accept a loss until they are counted, and he will contest every ballot, in every jurisdiction, to every tribunal, all the while whipping up his Twitter loons to violence.

I honestly think that the confusion he's trying to incite right now is just to keep HIM in the spotlight! I don't believe there's any truth to any of it. First, you ask, "...where have you been for the last 4 years?"

My response is, how about the last 40 years?! Trump has been a boil on the ass of the United States since the early 1980s, at least. How anyone couldn't see what a failure, liar and loser he is baffles me.

Second, the reason for concern is not based on Trump's pathetic losing history. In the past, he had his fixers, (Michael Cohen, Roy Cohn, etc.), taking care of his personal and financial problems. That was all small potatoes compared to the current situation. Now, Trump has the power of the Department of Justice, the Department of Homeland Security and other parts of the government under his control. This consolidation of power and influence in red states present the potential for severe problems.

Mostly, I think you're correct. But it would be naive to not prepare for all other contingencies.

The group that took over the somewhat moderate Republicans and turned it into the (r)epuglicons.

Got a early formulation during the McCarthy/Roy Cohn era. Nixon was an early attempt, then Reagan (along with Haig), then the Cheney driving the chump's bus over the cliff.

Funny how the (r)epuglicons since Eisenhower have been striving to kill the USA all the while acting like patriots. Must be a lesson learned from the communists and other cultists.

Speaking of cults. The new SCOTUS-to-be seems to be a member of the same secret societies that Wm. Barr is part of. Echos that horror flick in Georgetown...

I heard an interview this AM with the reporter that asked him the question at the presser yesterday, “will you support peaceful transition”? He said we would be shocked at the amount of civil servants in the SS that can’t wait to drag his fat ass away. It will take a few for his ass and Barr’s. I want Meadows drug out and banned from North Carolina. He needs to be attached to Trumps ass whereever he goes, Moscow or prison.

Roving gangs of Meal Team 6 looking under rocks for Libruls? I guess they could look for Biden yard signs but most will be gone by Jan I should think.

I predict a whole bunch of arrests of those violencing because it's against the law in most places and they always lose fire fights with law enforcement.

The media will play it up though 'cause if it bleeds it leads and people will freak and over react like always to the scattered incidents of those which surely will occur.

All these fascist followers of just one nation wrecker. Their ignorance, fear and hate is what holds them all together. We who have to face them should remember that there are more of us than them.

Laurence Tribe was just on CNN stating that we need to take Trump seriously, even though he may be viewed as a moron and a joker. People needed to take him seriously previously when he threatened to ban Muslims and when he threatened to tear apart families at the border, and they also need to take this threat seriously.

The point is not to make people feel hopeless about the election, the point is to be able to prepare for what may be coming next. Much of this fight may involve Republican-controlled state legislatures overriding the count of mail-in ballots.

Sep 2020

My prediction- Because the majority of Biden voters will be by mail, with a majority of his voters by in person, it’ll look like Trump has the lead in several states on election night with no clear winner due to the mail in ballots not fully counted. I then suspect Barr and Trump will hold a press conference the next day saying they’ll legally challenge mail in ballots, to have them not counted. With panic and chaos ensuing, it goes to the courts (Hopefully not to a biased Supreme Court). And then eventually all the mail in’s are counted, Biden is declared the winner, and trump will just mouth his conspiracy bs, until it’s time for him to leave.
