The problem is that Trump and McConnell have politicized the Supreme Court.

It is not acceptable that they attempt to manipulate justice and the rule of law.

They have put the Supreme Court and our Appeals Court out of balance with their blatant politics of division.

What can the Democrats do to correct it?

What should they do?

What can they do in the next six weeks to inform the American people what they are about to lose?

How many will listen?

They can accept that this will not be a 'proper' election. That 'taking the high road' is not an option. They can accept that we will literally have to get our hands dirty to make sure those rethug vultures are removed from office and then from American politics. We do not have the luxury of pretending that this is anything but a fight for the soul of the country. (This applies only to those of us who have one to begin with).

court respect will bite them where it hurts. stealing the US SC seat twice does not play well with the majority.

One thing about the people of the USA, we know how to survive. The courts may pass laws to hinder the American way, but we know how to compensate.

They want to do away with the ACA, with nothing to replace it.

Democrats believe that our people deserve the best healthcare in the world.

Republicans don't seem to believe in even the most basic healthcare?

Healthcare is, let's face it, just another thing on the pile along with living wages and work place protections -- none of these things Republicans are human rights.

and during most of our lives, there has been sort of a non-partisan balance that gave people confidence in the Courts.

Unfortunately, the partisan politics has come to a head under Trump and McConnell, with the intentional purpose of politicizing the Courts.

“But that will open the door for repukes to do it “ say the naysayers. The only option left is to get nothing because hoping repukes get integrity if everything goes their way is a fools errand. The Democratic strategy of holding heads high is a FAILED strategy When they go low kick the crap out of them.
