When it comes to racism, I don't know how you reach these people.

I had to change the channel, Kudos to Ali Velshi for trying to have this conversation, but I couldn't deal with it.

One guy said. " I think when you keep talking about it, is what is bringing it to the surface" - So there you have it. Talking about racism, causes racism. If only we didn't talk about racism, there wouldn't be racism. I don't have the patience. I'm glad there are smarter people than myself that want to tackle this, because I'd rather just not deal with these folks.

One woman said, its white men that are basically suffering.

I am really tired of hearing that we have to have an open dialog with these people. They are gone and hey are not coming back.

Don't pay them the respect that goes with listening to them.

We shouldnt talk about it, white people are discriminated against and good old welfare. Ive been saying it to relatives for a while, if you put the average republican under a lie detector test and asked if they thought African Americans are less intelligent, lazier, etc, well you know the answers you would get. That is text book racism, in their heart of hearts they view black people as inferior.
