...War is War.................Call It What It Is................................................
McConnell did this to us, so whatever we need to do to him is part of the war. He said that during an election year, we should wait for the election to decide the outcome of the Supreme Court nomination.
McConnell knows the game, and played his way. That is why he said he held up Obama's Garland
Nomination to the Supreme Court.
....Time to declare it what it is: Political War for the survival of our democracy.
...McConnell like Trump only cares for his own power and a very few people. If he cared at all
about our democracy, the Garland nomination would have been voted on. McConnell like Trump only cares about himself and his power. If he was going to follow through on what he did to us, and what
he said about a nomination during an election, this vote would NOT BE TAKEN..
Yet he says that the vote will be taken on this nomination.. And he will make sure there is a vote.
Call it what it is..........WAR...POLITICAL WAR FOR SURVIVAL OF OUR DEMOCRACY.......
........... McConnell/Trump started this war, we must finish it...................

(38,414 posts)to prevent Obama from getting anything done.. I don't remember the exact words, but that is basically
what he said. Someone can find that tape, because it is out there somewhere. I heard that a number of times on the news.
...And when it came time to approve Garland, he didn't even allow a vote. He started this, and we
must end it. And McConnell knows exactly what he is doing with his power, and he knows exactly what he did to Obama's Garland nomination. Out there for all to see, and yes, that really happened.

If Republicans take the House as anticipated on election night, voters can expect to hear the customary talk about coming together with Democrats for the good of the country.
President Barack Obama inevitably will extend a hand across the aisle as well.
But thats Tuesday. Right now, the tone is a lot different with Republicans pledging to embrace an agenda for the next two years that sounds a lot like their agenda for the past two: Block Obama at all costs.
Heres John Boehner, the likely speaker if Republicans take the House, offering his plans for Obamas agenda: We're going to do everything and I mean everything we can do to kill it, stop it, slow it down, whatever we can.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell summed up his plan to National Journal: The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president.

(38,414 posts)..McConnell started this. The election is 45 days away. Let us wait till the new president is sworn in on
January 21, and let the new president nominate someone. About a month and a half. Six weeks till the
election
.. More important, McConnell knows exactly what he is doing, and he is smart and has lots of experience
in this political war, unlike Trump. Hard to believe, but McConnell is just as mean & evil as Donald Trump.
McConnell wants to insure that his & Trump's Supreme Court Nominee is approved, not Biden's nominee. Because McConnell knows Trump will lose, and this is his gift to the Republican Party forever.

Stuart G
(38,414 posts)In the "Latest News" our first report on Ginsburg's death...was at 7:30pm Eastern Time...
McConnell made his statement about allowing vote on Trump's new nominee.. at 9:30pm ET
This defines McConnell forever.
.....................McConnell couldn't even wait a day to make his statement about the new nominee..
........................TWO FUCKING HOURS AFTER HER DEATH WAS REPORTED, HE MADE HIS STATEMENT..

Educate people. These are not conservative jurists. They are Partisan Operatives, many with little or no judicial experience. Many have worked as "counsel" for anti-gay hate groups, advocated for conversion therapy, worked as staff for GOP senators, RUN OFF AT THE MOUTH with misogynist, racist, anti-choice zealotry, and lied about it all during their sham confirmation hearings.
Abuse of power. "Judges" who have promised to be biased in advance, that's why they were chosen. It is a freak show.
Ratfucking is the only word for it.

they were doing by appointing these fairly young judges to ..........lifetime appointments........
