Trump Attacks FBI Director Christopher Wray for Warning on Russian Election Meddling

"President Donald Trump attacked his own FBI director Thursday in a series of vitriolic tweets. Christopher Wray had testified Thursday morning before the House Committee on Homeland Security about “very active efforts” by Russia to influence the 2020 U.S. election and “to both sow divisiveness and discord and...to denigrate Vice President Biden.” Trump, who has long contested his own intelligence agencies’ conclusions about Russian election meddling, wrote in response, “But Chris, you don’t see any activity from China, even though it is a FAR greater threat than Russia, Russia, Russia. They will both, plus others, be able to interfere in our 2020 Election with our totally vulnerable Unsolicited (Counterfeit?) Ballot Scam.” He cited no evidence for his claims about China or voting by mail. In another tweet, he wrote of the FBI’s investigation of domestic terrorism, “The Comey/Mueller inspired FBI is simply unable, or unwilling, to find their funding source, and allows them to get away with ‘murder.’”

... Mr. Wray has a calm demeanor, and he comes across and honest and knowledgeable. I watched some of him today... if I were casting an ideal spokesperson for the truth, I would cast Wray. If this blows up and Wray gets the boot, I think we would benefit from him speaking out about what he knows.

we are in a world of hurt. Jesus, I mean everyone else is a crony. Just Wray speaking out won't cut it, the entire FBI would have to revolt.

The number of people, especially men, and I am probably stereotyping here, don't have a problem with how much he whines and complains. As working folks, we don't get that luxury when life gives us a bad hand. Most of us, deal with it, we figure out how to get stuff done, we roll up our sleeves and go to work. He just whines and complains, like a damn toddler. Folks should really be offended by that. If you had a family member that behaved this way, you would tell them to stuff it! Nobody wants to hear you whine and complain all the damn time. Especially, when you have everything in your favor and you squander it.

They all play the part of hapless victims of the havoc they wreak. It’s like the kid who murders his parents and begs for mercy because he’s an orphan.

So, he’s the biggest victim.

Will Trump say he misunderstood the question or that he was confused?

Trump is wholly unfit and needs to resign. Everyone he has installed and has enabled him also needs to resign.

It's a shitshow of epic proportions.

BTW There is no such thing as unsolicited ballots because to get a ballot you have to
be a registered voter and request a ballot be sent to you.

Asked just before boarding Marine One if he’s looking to replace @FBI Director Wray, @POTUS replies: “We’re looking at a lot of different things...I did not like his answer the other day.”
