But they wouldnt have had the President giving daily news briefings blaming governors for following CDC guidance and turning the very practices which could save lives into issues of expressing political identity. We would have also had a coordinated national response rather than every level of government working in direct opposition to each other.

Despite continuing numbers.
Europe, virtually as a whole, gave up and decided to live with it and seemingly have no interest in wiping it out. They had the chance but chose money over lives.

I can´t see the US doing the same or more succinctly can´t see the crazies over there complying but certainly a sane leader would of lessened the impact significantly.
