Come on.

This country doesn't send the powerful to prison. It's a nice thought though, but that's all it is.

At least my state still has Russ Feingold (somewhere). We once had some true statespersons up north.

Our three Democratic senators are more than adequate. Moe-Ron Johnson is our comic relief though. He'll be in the minority party soon.

Cholesterol and or drug abuse will addle his brain or what’s left of it. Or, he will stroke out by then. Junior, however, might be a concern. All of the rubes already have their flags and will want to use them.

If he's not dead by then, he will pretty much be a drooling vegetable. I was watching the documentary "Unfit" last night and one of the psychologists/psychiatrists was saying that with the type of mental deterioration he has, it can only get worse. It will never improve. He will only go downhill from here, and the drug abuse will just accellerate that process.

I am hoping his kids will all be in prison by then.

German right-wingers are marching with Trump flags now -- the swastika is outlawed so his image has replaced it. He can still do a lot of damage, even if he isn't president or re-elected.

The Lincoln Project (and like-minded Republicans) will be able to prevent him being nominated by the Republican party. (And none of the mini-Trumps have the following or street smarts to pull it off.)

ETA: And I'm one of the folks who keeps yelling at everyone to stop taking a Biden win for granted (and I was also raising caution flags in 2016 when we were so certain Clinton would win). So this isn't Pollyanna talking here.

It does seem that candidates keep getting older and older though.

Heck my grandparents made it just short of 90. They did alot in the 28 years between 70 and 98.

And he'll be about the same age as Biden when he runs for re-election, so we shouldn't hit that note overly hard.

If Trump loses he will immediately attack Biden once Biden is in office. Trump's supporters will lap up every tweet and comment. Trump will still have huge media presence and be able to dictate nominees.

It if foolish not to understand the potential for Trump to maintain support and run again, especially if Biden's approval drops and Democrats have a weak 2022 midterm.

Trump and his supporters would use that as evidence of blood in the water

He will break 200 years of decorum and civility to just statisfy his ego.

Trump is a fool. We all know that.

But we have underestimated him at EVERY opportunity. He's not even supposed to be there. That happened because we underestimated him and it's a mistake we keep making over and over and over.

As for jail? Right. He's going to same jail that W went to. (remember that one!?)
