The War On Women: What Are You Wearing?

Modesty Matters took a table at the Values Voters Summit to persuade women to “dress like ladies.” Today, what you are wearing, (and just whose business is it anyway) is On Our Radar.

(Yes these RW miscreants want women to wear burka's ..almost . The GOP Taliban)

1. Interesting it's seen as from 1950's time travel, seems more Godey's advice circa late 1860-1890

I suppose that's a matter of perspective, anything from before your own birth seems like ancient history.

2. I thought these right wing fundies were the 'take responsibility for yourself' party

Yet they expect women to take responsibility for curbing men's 'lustful thoughts'??? Maybe they need to start wearing one of those sharp metal cintures around their woogies - every time they start feeling lusty, they can give it a pull. Should just take a couple of times to cure them.

I just don't get why women would accept being dictated to by men. Men aren't preached to about how they should obey women. Fuck them and the broom up their asses they flew in on.

10. One of the first things that changed when I was getting divorced in 2003...

was my style of dress. Gave up the fake suburban mom image I was uncomfortable with, anyway. Sandals, jeans, t-shirts, peace symbol jewelry. I could tell it drove my ex nuts. They totally disregard women but are obsessed with our appearance and behavior. WTF!!

.. when women wore long dresses from chin to toe, bonnets,
and corsets.

And boyhidey, they knew their place.

Notice that in families where the patriarchal authoritian father
rules, everyone has crazy eyes. Every old pic I've seen shows
this. It's fucking grim.

I'd have been looking pretty crazy-eyed, also, if I had to sit with the same expression on my face for that long!

The Modesty Matters Dress Code makes a special 'kinkster' exception for Republican men who wear diapers while violating their Marriage Vows with 'specialist' prostitutes.

Obviously, 'Republican Family Values' are once again making a vulgar display of rank hypocrisy.

As usual.

My favorite, really old, comfortable, ragged bell bottom jeans. And my denim jacket with my "Trust Women" and "Obama 2012" buttons on the lapel.
