And good on Austin. I can only imagine the pain they have been through. I love each and every one of them. Are you sure Austin is still in TX?

While Austin is our progressive hub in Texas, our metropolitan areas are all pretty blueish-purple. Just wish we could turn more rural folks! But times, they are a' changin'! The future demographics here favor us liberals. I just wish the tide would hurry up and bring the changes!

As I watched it, I began to wonder who their target audience was? Was it the city youth? The gay and lesbian community at large? Or perhaps even an employee training film for the Austin Police Dept.?

I remember when I first became an employee at Stanford University, we were all shown a film that was very similar to yours.

Austin is my adopted home. I don't live there any more, but it will always be home to me. To see APD stepping up in such a beautiful way really made me proud.

Thank you, APD. Bravo, and thank you.

...she came out in her 30s after she almost committed suicide. Her RW mother (who already knew but did not acknowledge) came to her rescue. She is now an NGO worker in DC with her Phd. It did get better. Hugs to all.
