Rasmussen... YES RASMUSSEN: Economic confidence at 7 year high.
In the name of Rachel Maddow's old radio show... "talk about burying the lead!"
The Rasmussen daily tracking poll is one thing. But buried deep within the daily poll results was this little nugget:
Consumer confidence has moved up to within two points of its 2012 high.
Forty percent (40%) now believe the economy is getting better. Thats the most optimistic assessment in seven years. Seventy-one percent (71%) of Democrats believe the economy is getting better, while 67% of Republicans believe it is getting worse. Among those not affiliated with either party, 30% say better and 48% worse.

Yes. According to Rasmussen's own daily tracking poll, more Americans now believe the economy of the country is getting better than at any point since 2005. Or year one of George W. Bush's second term.
BTW: Rasmussen reported a tie in its tracking poll today. But when leaners were included, Obama led Romney 48%-47%.
Hmm... Is the country better off now than it was 4 years ago?
