Not directly on a daily basis but they are all over the place here.

I’ve met one ONE who was both a nice person and good at their job. One.

Liberty people have a serious righteousness about them. Nothing about them is remarkably impressive either. Nothing.

I have members of my family from Lynchburg and they have lots of stories about Jerry. No real dirt just his slimy lying ass stealing ways.

We used to have Liberty students rotate in and out of our clinic. It was like Stepford Wives Junior League.

Any university that has a creationism department and teaches that the world is 6,000 years old isn't a university.

However, I might not respect the education of a person who got their degree there, especially in scientific fields.

Liberty people are everywhere around here. See my post above.

15 years ago no one took it seriously but because there are so many around now it’s like people are just used to them.

Right off they had a religion category and I think she ran the table on that. I'm calling bullshit because what are the odds that would just happen to be up there that night? Maybe they had categories catering to the two guys majors, but if they did it wasn't obvious. I wondered if they did that for the kids on their college editions.

That was about all the wins she had the whole show though. Those guys smoked her the rest of the way! I was laughing by the time it was over. I'm not a bad trivia guy. I'm pretty sure i would have beat her too, even with her head start.

They are a nice family, the son got a lot of money to go to Liberty so he went. When he graduated, his father asked me if I could recommend his son for a job. I have known the son and his family for about 15 years so to me, it was an easy ask. The job was with a security company. The president of the company is also a friend and they saw the connection on linked in. When I recommended my friends son, the president of the company told me that they do not hire from Liberty. They do not have a level of confidence. I asked about Oral Roberts, Notre Dame, Boston College, Texas Christian. He said no problem with most but there are some religious based colleges that they are just uncomfortable with.

In 2009, I met the owner of the Anheuser-Busch distributorship in Lynchburg. I brought him a truckload of beer, and while one of his guys was busy unloading it, I asked him if Jerry Falwell ever tried to get the place shut down.

"Of course he did," the beer man said, "lots of times. Finally I got pissed at him and went out there. Got right up in his face and told him, 'Reverend Falwell, beer is legal in the City of Lynchburg and the State of Virginia, and there's not a fucking thing you can do about it. Get the hell off my property and don't come back.' Never saw him again after that."

I would rather get the facts that just indulge in a prejudice that they are worthless. It depends on the courses and the quality of them.

Depends on the science departments. I imagine they could be accurate with only a few issues. They might not teach evolution. But how important is that in the whole? Any university's courses will not cover everything.
